Interesting Facts: |
- Dreadnought was the "Daddy of Them All".
|
- Satan was "M" line bred on his Sire's side,
through Jolihem Adonis, Ch. Wychbury Kimbo & Ch. Widneyland Kim (both these dogs were
admired by Lionel F. Hemstock and were central to his breeding programmes for both is red
and brindle stock). Ch. Jolihem Dreadnought and Ch. Jolihem
Ringmaster are still a potent force today and form the centre of many breeding
programmes - although many Stafford breeders today are astonishingly unaware of this !!
(See line breeding). Today's top winning dog, Ch. Domino
Flashy Lad, goes back to this line through an unbroken ar of line of Champion Sires - as
does Ch. Nordic Chief, Ch. Highland Dream, Maktoum Yacht Master of Jolihem. Jolihem The Lad Himself goes back to Satan through a completely
different set of Champion sires to Satan. Several lines of Champions can trace their
decendency directly back to Dreadnought.
